“Washed Up Hollywood”

“”Washed Up Hollywood” is a 35mm series of pictures I worked on over the course of a few months.” explains Los Angeles based photographer Dayne Malan. “I’d take my camera, stroll down to Hollywood Blvd and wait for moments when the characters get put on hold. Many of these people that dress as movie characters have dreams of being Hollywood stars. In the meantime they live out their dreams dressed as their idols to make a living. LA is ruthless to aspiring artists.”
