Jäde, tell us a bit about yourself. Where did you grow up? How did you get started making music?

Hello! I was born and grew up in Lyon till I was 19. It’s a cool city but my life there was so boring that I moved to Paris after high school. The passion for singing came pretty young, around when I was 12 and when I discovered garage-bands with my sister. Everything changed when I arrived in Paris and met some producers.

Unfortunately I don´t speak french. So I am curious, what are your songs all about?

My songs are a lot about love, sex and sometimes money; the only few things I need.

What is your favourite French word?

I like “bref” which means “anyway”, because it can put a damper in a conversation really fast. And If I really want to kill the vibe, I say “enfin bref”.

“My songs talk a lot about love, sex and sometimes money; the only few things I need.”

In one instagram caption you wrote “I´m actually very shy”- so do you consider yourself more as an introvert?

If “introvert” means staying home every day and every night and not socializing, … yes, I guess I am.

Are you currently in love with someone?

You can say that again lol. I think I’ve never not been in love in my life. And it really sucks. But my dad always says that at least I can feel things, when some people will never know what it is. That’s a bit cheesy but sometimes it warms my heart.

The most important thing in life is…?

Achieving dreams

Hello from my planet! I love nature, freedom, dancing, traveling, music, reading, chilling, cats and the woods. What makes me happy is healthy food, a good night out, long walks in the forest and getting lost in the sound of nature.
