“An existence together should find its way to empower new hopes, right?” Gabriel Almeida poses a question in order to start explaining the concept behind her new series starring models Mila Jankowska and Kate Komar of from Hype Models Warsaw. “This is about two people sharing each other’s presence for the first time. Finding out about silence, privacy and enclosed spaces from deep inside. For when the days seem to pass only to dissolve the present outside, we may still lift each other up – from fists to hearts.” Shot in an apartment in the middle of Warsaw’s Old Town allows the viewer to connect the arcane past with the present moment. Makeup artist is Aleksandra Szczepanek.
