I wonder about the way I felt, before all my feelings were overloaded with observing everyone else’s feelings about everything. I wonder what I thought before all my thoughts were influenced by always seeing everyone’s thoughts about everything.
I wonder how my life would be, if there was more empty space in it, more silence between us.
While it’s great to reflect on things and to communicate with others, to share our experiences, I feel that the bulk of what we share and what we are exposed to is more overwhelming than really connecting. More like thousands and millions of monologues and information shreds that fizzle out to nowhere. And we all have no peace of mind.
I want back to this state of standing the empty space, the not needing to know all, not wanting to share all. And where all that we share is that very moment we have with each other.
