"As if we were communicating only with our minds"

You know when you meet someone and you feel this immediate connection? Maybe this person radiates sympathy or your smiles meet or you see someone´s work and feel what the other person wants to convey because it is the same thing that you want to express.

Photographer Spiros Symeonidis first met Andigoni Pershakov about a year ago when they saw each others work and decided to collaborate together. “Right away we had an amazing connection which made us feel like we have known each other for years.” he remembers. “On one of her last weekends in Athens, Greece before leaving for the summer season we decided to meet up for a relaxed photoshoot with no pressure. My goal was to let her express herself in whatever way she wanted without much guidance for posing so I can capture her personality and mood coming through. Again we felt that amazing connection which allowed us to photograph as if we were communicating only with our minds and which produced a very natural and beautiful outcome which was our intention.”
