The air was stiflingly humid and heavy with the scent of eucalyptus emanating from the surrounding forest. In Steve McKee‘s latest series, first-time model Zee is featured seeking relief from the blistering heat of the day, to no avail. The images captured during the golden hour convey a natural sensuality, reminiscent of road trips on remote back roads and hot autumn nights. As the sun began to set, the temperature remained well above 100 degrees, causing real sweat to pour. But even in the midst of such intense heat, there was time for some reading, enjoying moments of endless summer.
