“Femininity means creation, love, and nurture,” Lauren Mia reflects in her recent interview with us. This statement resonates deeply within her debut album “RE:BIRTH,” a 13-track journey of personal and spiritual growth, set to release tomorrow. C-Heads is excited to premiere “Saturn Return,” a standout track from the album, today.

Lauren Mia, a multi-disciplinary musician and producer based in Los Angeles, is known for her captivating mélange of Techno, Melodic Techno, and Progressive House. Her debut album, “RE:BIRTH,” is an ode to her artistic evolution and a celebration of her Saturn Return – a time of significant change and personal development according to astrological beliefs.

The album, due to be released just in time for her birthday, is a symbolic representation of her journey. It’s imbued with strong trance influences, adding a spiritual, cosmic note to the overall composition. Tracks like “Mortemerre” reflect this heavenly vibe. Her classical training and foundation in piano weave through her work, resulting in clear, perfectly arranged pieces. The album swiftly transitions into its vibrant core with tracks like ‘444,’ a faster-paced number that exemplifies Mia’s skill in instantly engaging her audience. This energy is further explored in tracks such as ‘Shadow‘ and ‘Ceremony,’ each showcasing different facets of Mia’s artistic versatility and ability to captivate listeners from the onset.

“RE:BIRTH” also celebrates feminine energy, a theme close to Mia’s heart. The album is an exploration of divine femininity, shadow work, plant medicine, and personal recreation, all underlined by astrological and ceremonial life themes.

“Saturn Return” is a powerful piece in this collection, marking both a personal and artistic milestone for Mia. The track embodies the essence of her musical journey and her entry into a new decade of life, blending cosmic forces with personal growth and the alchemy of love. In addition to the music, “RE:BIRTH” is accompanied by a visual documentary showcasing Lauren’s journey through the Mayan Ruins in Coba, providing a visual context to her musical story.
