Getting all Sandy

Okay, this is a really extensive set, but everything just fits so well here. The beautiful sunset, Model Alina Zhytielieva from Castaway Model Management, and the promise of a day at the beach — all captured by photographer Augustus Solaris.

“It was a really special shoot because it was my first shoot being back in Bali after more than a year away. Bali has a very special place in my heart, it’s such a mystical island, it awakens my senses like no other place and Nyang Nyang beach is my favorite beach in the world, a wild and untamed beach that gives you a sense of freedom and peace and that day it welcomed us kindly. The shoot was all about embracing the beach, getting all sandy and wet, and feeling pleasantly dazed by the heat of the sun. I focused on capturing the golden details of a human body by the sea, sun-kissed, hugged by the ocean, sandy, and happy, to celebrate the beauty of the connection our body can have with the ocean. The shoot ended with one of the most beautiful sunsets I have ever seen. Truly grateful to experience moments like these and to be able to capture them and share them.”
