“These are my last days in Bogotá, just a few days away from returning to NYC for vacation. And coincidentally, María José has just arrived in Bogotá,” introduces photographer Alexander Tarazona, with the beautiful María José, a model and designer from Medellín starring in his latest analogue photo work. “We decided not to miss the opportunity and met at her best friend’s flat. It was a sunny afternoon, surrounded by plants, books, poems, and Magnolia, her lovely cat.” Oh yes, we spotted her right away with its fluffy fur, and definitely also very photogenic knowing how to put herself into the scene.

About his muse for this photo shoot, the talented artist says, “María José is a contrast. At first sight, you feel her strength, a tough, dominant, and powerful woman, but at the same time, when you look closely into her eyes, they reflect vulnerability and sweetness.” He closes his words by introducing us to a wonderful poem.

“Between Grupo Niche’s Salsa and poems, we found this which we hope will help clarify one’s mind to whoever needs it:

You’re my first.
And I don’t mean my first kiss,
Or my first relationship,
Or my first love you.

You’re the first person
Who makes me feel like I’m enough
And the first one to show me
What “I love you” actually means.

Alexander Tarazona also contributed to our newest C-Heads print volume 38. The issue delves into the art of slowing down, celebrates the joy of crafting, invites you to feel the freedom from society’s temporal constraints, and captures the alluring sentiment that everything looks more beautiful under the sun.

Hello from my planet! I love nature, freedom, dancing, traveling, music, reading, chilling, cats and the woods. What makes me happy is healthy food, a good night out, long walks in the forest and getting lost in the sound of nature.
