“The sound of the ocean, the smell of suncream, naps in the shade, being covered in sand while going for dinner and the beached summer skin feeling. Anywhere there is the sun, sand and sea I feel instantly at home, calm and connected. It’s my happy place.” This is how photographer Jase Patrick describes his motivation for this beautiful photo series in a bay on the beach in Portugal. Nestled between impressive rocks and turquoise clear water, it creates the feeling of being in a moment where time stands still a little while watching the pretty model Olya Bezrukova who is with the agency We Are Models Lisbon.
We also love the atmosphere of the other beachgoers who are simply enjoying the moment. “After spending a lot of time traveling to beautiful places, exploring stunning beaches and living in the sun I’m inspired to capture and share that feeling. I’m excited to explore and shoot on lots more beaches in Portugal this summer.”
