Seb Wildblood continues to be a shaping influence in the electronic music scene, and his latest EP once again showcases his talent for taking listeners on musical journeys through his tracks. His new release showcases a wonderful mix of deep, sleek beats that pull the listener into a world where the lines between the dancefloor and introspective listening blur.

Wildblood has long been an important figure in the UK’s underground scene, with DJ Mag hailing him as “one of the most prolific figures” in this space. Now based in Los Angeles, Wildblood’s sound has subtly shifted, drawing inspiration from the city’s unique energy and the natural surroundings he finds himself in. In a recent interview, he reflected on this transition, saying, “For me, I look more towards the nature side of things when I’m here for inspiration… you get injected into these pockets of subculture when you’re on the road, which is actually one of the biggest privileges for me.” This connection to both nature and subcultures around the world is also noticeable in his Flush EP, where each track feels like a journey through different emotional landscapes.

The EP is a reflection of Wildblood’s dual identity as a creator of both dancefloor tunes and more meditative tracks. It’s an exploration of contrasts—upbeat moments that lift you up, followed by mellow phases that allow for nostalgic introspection.

Wildblood’s ability to blend the cinematic with the intimate, and the energetic with the tranquil, is what makes this release stand out. It’s a perfect example of the astonishing variety that electronic music offers, and this EP showcases it beautifully.

Hello from my planet! I love nature, freedom, dancing, traveling, music, reading, chilling, cats and the woods. What makes me happy is healthy food, a good night out, long walks in the forest and getting lost in the sound of nature.
