“It was a sunny/rainy kind of day in Bali. We were just a few friends hanging out by the beach, being creative. Fiorenza is a stunning model from Indonesia, making waves with her effortless natural beauty—she’s a real island girl, grounded and radiant, emanating warmth through her presence. My dear friend Emilio was with us, offering creative inspiration. He’s a talented photographer from Australia, a deeply creative and present soul.

We spent about an hour in the pouring rain, sitting in a boat towed near the shore, talking about life, and feeling like we were in a movie. It was one of those surreal moments where life feels too beautiful to be real. I decided to take a chance and grabbed my camera, shooting Fiorenza in the rain while trying to shield my gear with a bag. (My camera succumbed to water damage a few days later, but it was worth it.) Then, as if on cue, the rain stopped, and a glorious golden light embraced us with its warmth.

That’s how these shots came to life—no mood boards, no planning, just another magical day in the tropics.”
