Captured by photographer Jase Patrick on the Khai Islands in Thailand, this sun-soaked series features models Eye and Alisa. Under the golden sun and surrounded by the infinite blue of the Khai Islands, two women reflect on presence, freedom, and the quiet power of connection. What begins as a moment shared on a secluded shore unfolds into something deeper—an ode to transformation, intimacy, and the vastness within.
Alisa: “Two women stand on the edge of a vast ocean—small compared to its grandeur, yet their presence fills the space with beauty and strength. Their energy, power, and essence are timeless. Like the ocean, we are vast. We may feel small, but we hold infinite beauty within. The waves teach us that our strength lies in our ability to flow, adapt, and heal, no matter the size of the world.”
Eye: “When I’m on this island with her, life feels truly exciting. Meeting her has shown me just how many new things, experiences, and perspectives there are still to discover. Here, surrounded by the crystal-clear sea, I feel free—like I’ve escaped the chaos. The white sand reflects the sun, deepening the tan on our skin. I’ve learned to live for the joy in small things, to stay open to new encounters, and to explore the wonders of this vast, beautiful world that belongs to us.”
Jase Patrick contributes a wonderful series to our newly released Volume 39 – which is a love letter to the simple joys, the human warmth, the in-between moments that often go unnoticed.
