This beautiful series by photographer Gaëtan Piffre, starring gorgeous model Ilenia Perez and styled by Milo de las Heras, captures everything we love: the feeling of summer, nature in full bloom, and the simple joy of cherries under the sun.
“One warm afternoon at the start of summer, we escaped the heat of Madrid and wandered into the meadows of the Dehesa in Collado Villalba, Ilenia’s hometown. (A “dehesa” is a traditional Spanish pastureland of open fields and scattered trees, typical of the countryside.) As the sun slowly dipped, casting a soft golden light over the grass, time seemed to stretch. We spent the late hours walking through the tall grass and lounging on a blanket with fruit — a quiet moment of softness, simplicity, and summer, captured on film.
The three outfits were selected by our stylist of the day, Milo, following my art direction. We chose white garments to evoke simplicity, lightness, and a sense of emotional openness — conveying a feeling of freedom, clarity, and new beginnings.”
Everything was shot on 35mm film.
