Clara appears just as she is — radiant, genuine, and filled with a presence that makes it impossible not to fall a little in love with her. Captured through the lens of Javier Fenoll, this series comes to life with a lightness of being: images full of joy, positivity, and that effortless beauty that simply makes your day brighter — because we can never have enough of this kind of glow in the world. In this interview, Clara Zarco opens up about what beauty means to her, the transformative power of modeling, and the moments and places that inspire her most.

Clara, wow would you introduce yourself in one sentence to someone who’s seeing you for the first time?
I would introduce myself as a cheerful person with a special energy who loves to uplift and inspire others.

What first drew you to modeling?
What first drew me to modeling was the need for a change. I was looking for something different, and thanks to the people I met along the way who supported and encouraged me, I experienced a very positive personal and social transformation. Through this journey, I’ve not only grown but also made amazing friendships from the work I’ve done.

Your shoot with Javier looks so lovely, and it seems like you had a great time. What do you remember most about that day?
What I remember most about that day with Javier is, above all, his company. Beyond being an excellent photographer, he’s a wonderful person. A great photographer obviously knows how to take amazing pictures, but what really matters is their ability to connect with the model, and Javier has that in spades. It’s a special connection that can even lead to lasting friendships. I really care about him, because he makes you feel so comfortable, special, and beautiful that the naturalness and beauty truly come through in the photos. I also remember having a great time with him because we shot in an idyllic location—the Costa Brava in Catalonia, one of my favorite places, especially Calella de Palafrugell, which is absolutely stunning.

“Beauty is being spontaneous, being natural, and having a genuine smile.”

I really love your natural look. How do you personally define beauty?
Thank you, I’m so glad you love my natural look. For me, beauty is exactly that—being spontaneous, being natural, and having a genuine smile. Of course, someone can fit more or less into society’s usual standards of beauty, but true beauty isn’t about physical appearance. It’s about what’s inside: how someone shines, their energy, their aura. People are beautiful for how they express themselves, how they act, how they speak, for their story, and so many other things beyond just looks. Physical appearance is just a shell—some features may be considered more beautiful than others, but the most important part of beauty is who you are on the inside. It’s something to cherish, protect, and value, because everything else fades, but your inner self is what lasts and what people truly remember.

What’s your favorite spot in Barcelona to relax and find inspiration?
For me, the place in Barcelona that inspires and relaxes me the most is the sea, especially the beach. I love walking along the Castelldefels promenade, a long path of almost 12 kilometers, which I’ve done at every stage of my life—when I was a child, a teenager, and now. I always go there, walking by the sea, listening to the breeze, whether in winter or summer, and it makes me feel completely renewed. Castelldefels promenade is definitely my favorite spot for inspiration and relaxation.

“Water feels like freedom and purification—I hope to live near the sea one day.”

Coffee or tea?
I prefer coffee, and ideally with oat milk, because I like it better that way.

Beach or city?
Definitely the beach, 100%! I’ve always loved the water—being a Pisces, I’ve always been drawn to it. Water sports, swimming, the sea—it’s everything to me. It feels like freedom and purification, and I love it so much that I hope to live near the sea one day.

Morning or night?
I’m definitely a morning person because I love making the most of my days and especially enjoying the early morning sun. Everything feels fresher and purer at that time, and I always wake up early, even on vacation. That said, I’m actually more creative and full of ideas at night, which is funny because my biorhythms would suggest the opposite. So, while I prefer mornings for getting the most out of the day, nighttime brings me more inspiration and creativity.

The most important thing in life is?
For me, the most important thing in life is being surrounded by the people I love the most—my family and closest friends. Keeping those bonds strong and feeling their love, support, and joy is what truly matters. Relationships with the people who give you energy, happiness, and motivation to live are the foundation of everything. Many people focus on material things or money, but the real source of happiness is the love from your loved ones and friends, and how they inspire you to be a better person.

Hello from my planet! I love nature, freedom, dancing, traveling, music, reading, chilling, cats and the woods. What makes me happy is healthy food, a good night out, long walks in the forest and getting lost in the sound of nature.
