Some people move through life without ever realizing how deeply their actions and words can affect others. That thought stayed with me after reading our interview with model Bella Monroe. “The people we love, the memories we create, and the way we make others feel are what truly stay with us,” she told us. And honestly, I think that is a beautiful way to look at life. Taking a moment to reflect on how our behavior impacts the people around us feels increasingly rare these days.

The entire interview is a gentle reminder of what really matters. Originally from Las Vegas, Bella speaks about beauty beyond appearances, personal growth, confidence, and the importance of human connection with a refreshing honesty that feels both grounding and inspiring. Because in the end, we all live on the same planet. Most of us simply want to build a meaningful life filled with love, laughter, purpose, and people who make us feel seen.

Photographed by Kevin Weinert, Bella Monroe spent a beautiful sunset chasing the last golden light of the day — and the result is a series that feels just as warm and timeless as the conversation itself.

Enjoy.

Bella, how did your journey into modeling begin?

I never imagined modeling would become such a big part of my life. I grew up in Las Vegas and was originally studying nursing with the goal of becoming a nurse practitioner. At the same time, I was always drawn to creativity, photography, and storytelling. I loved the idea of stepping into different moods and emotions and telling a story through an image.

When I was discovered, it opened the door to a world I knew very little about. Since then, I’ve traveled, lived abroad, met incredible people, and experienced cultures I never would have encountered otherwise. Modeling has given me opportunities I could never have imagined, but more importantly, it’s taught me resilience, independence, adaptability, and confidence in who I am.

What does beauty mean to you beyond appearances?

To me, beauty is presence. It’s the energy someone carries and the way they make others feel. The most beautiful people I’ve met aren’t necessarily the most conventionally attractive; they have kindness, curiosity, warmth, and authenticity. Real beauty comes from being comfortable in who you are and allowing that to shine through.

What kind of shoots do you enjoy the most, and why?

I love shoots that tell a story. Whether it’s fashion, beauty, or something more intimate, I’m always drawn to images that evoke emotion and feel timeless. The most rewarding shoots are the ones where everyone is fully invested in the same creative vision and something genuine happens in front of the camera.

“For me, a meaningful life is built through genuine connection, gratitude, and being present for the moments that matter most.”

How was the sunset shoot with Kev?

The shoot felt incredibly natural and effortless. The light was beautiful, everyone was relaxed, and there was a sense of trust throughout the day. My favorite memory was watching the sky change colors while we were shooting. Moments like that remind me why I fell in love with photography in the first place, capturing something beautiful and fleeting before it disappears.

Are you more of a sunrise person or a sunset person?

Definitely a sunset person. There’s something romantic about the end of the day. It reminds me to slow down, reflect, and appreciate the present moment before everything begins again.

What helps you stay grounded when life gets busy?

Spending time with the people I love, taking long walks, and staying connected to simple routines. Modeling can be unpredictable, so I find comfort in the little things that remain constant no matter where I am in the world.

What is one small thing that can instantly make your day better?

A really good coffee and a conversation that makes me laugh.

Which version of Bella would your teenage self be most surprised by?

Probably the confidence and independence I’ve developed. I used to overthink everything and worry about what other people thought of me. Over time, I’ve learned that growth comes from stepping into the unknown. Living in different places, meeting new people, and starting over more than once taught me to trust myself in ways I never imagined when I was younger.

What is the most important thing in life for you?

Love and connection. At the end of the day, everything else is temporary—careers, achievements, even the places we live. The people we love, the memories we create, and the way we make others feel are what truly stay with us. For me, a meaningful life is built through genuine connection, gratitude, and being present for the moments that matter most.

Hello from my planet! I love nature, freedom, dancing, traveling, music, reading, chilling, cats and the woods. What makes me happy is healthy food, a good night out, long walks in the forest and getting lost in the sound of nature.
