There is something beautiful about looking through old photographs. They have a way of bringing back moments we thought we had forgotten — little details, feelings, and memories that suddenly feel close again. No matter whether they were taken on film or digitally, images allow us to revisit chapters of our lives and remember the people and places that shaped us.
Today, we are happy to welcome Italian-born, Perth-based photographer Daniela Bettoni to C-Heads with her debut series, shot on analogue film during a journey through Indonesia. Together with model Andra E. Tache, she wandered through the streets, embracing the unexpected and simply enjoying the moment.
Raised in Italy and now based in Australia, Daniela captures fashion and lifestyle stories through both digital and analogue formats. Growing up, she loved flipping through old family albums, fascinated by the memories hidden inside them. Those moments sparked her desire to become a photographer herself — to create images that one day might carry the same meaning for others.
