Today we have another fresh musical discovery for you. If you’re looking for an artist who still feels like a hidden gem while delivering an infectious dose of energy, sebastian axe from Oslo should definitely be on your playlist. His new single “where is your girlfriend?” is instantly catchy and undeniably radio-friendly, yet it never feels overly polished. Instead, it carries just enough rough edges to give it character and keep it feeling authentic.

The story behind the song isn’t exactly one of life’s most pleasant surprises: realizing that the person you’re dating is already in a relationship. But instead of turning the experience into heartbreak and melancholy, sebastian axe flips the script. “where is your girlfriend?” is playful, uplifting and impossible not to move along to, transforming frustration into something surprisingly fun.

Just like on his previous releases, you can hear his love for the ’80s throughout the track. Warm synths, hook-filled melodies and irresistible grooves give the song a nostalgic glow while still feeling thoroughly contemporary. Enjoy the track below.
