Hello from my planet! I love nature, freedom, dancing, traveling, music, reading, chilling, cats and the woods. What makes me happy is healthy food, a good night out, long walks in the forest and getting lost in the sound of nature.

Dino Rovolis – The reality of an artist’s life

With our new series “An artist´s life.” we want to share the stories of the people behind the art. “In life, everything and anything can go wrong at any moment so instead of planning something ‘to a T’ I just utilize what I have in that moment. Art in general adds joy to someone’s soul, and I believe instead of making this field extremely competitive and out of reach, companies should open up more jobs and help the artists of this world grow and really make a living.”

Naturalness with Maria

“We spent a warm sunset together. We met for taking pictures but all we did was play.” Photographer Pablo Gil laughs. “Maria and me played with light, we played with colors, heat and freshness. Green, white, yellow, red. We turned the bedroom into a flamenco show, and the living room became a sacred temple right away. It was an intimate game of laughters, characters and fun. I guess that is our Spanish essence.”

I know that after this we will never see each other.

Vancouver based photographer Maryna Yazbeck processes the time issue of life in her photo story using symbols such as a sandtimer. Maryna picked up her first camera when she was only 12 years old and believes that you don’t need a certain “style” or “theme” to be a great photographer, but instead being able to replicate all styles is key.

“A circle in a circle…”

Keitaro Cloward´s new short film takes us on a dreamy and cinematic journey exploring the question of how much everything in life is a copy of others. Starring Alina Bobyleva. “A circle in a circle…” Alina says dreamily as if she were asleep under a hypnotist spell. She describes how in order to create we copy. But a copy of a copy is a diminutive form, not as great as the original. Therefore, the circle spirals smaller and smaller.

How Does That Make You Feel?

My series, “& How Does That Make You Feel?” was an excuse to reconnect with my love for styling. To remember that it is not the clothing and fleeting material that matters to me, but rather the ability to bring an idea, a thought to life with other like minded creatives to produce an experience and express individuality; All while empowering the subject and expressing emotion through this sort of medium.”
