Seven unique little art pieces…

After all the beauty and melancholia of his critically acclaimed debut „Villa/11 Rooms“, Florentin Berger-Monit aka Toju Kae is showing us with his sophomore album „Unfold“ a slightly rougher and edgier side of his creative work. While most of the new tracks are in the vein for the repetitive ambient soundscapes he‘s known for, there are elements of a new roughness and straightforwardness as well as some great avant-garde moments. With the new album out tomorrow, there will also be a bunch of videos, one for each single track, made by all kind of creative people around Toju Kae, reflecting and capturing the different facets of his music. Having completely free rein in the artistic realisation, there were produced seven unique little art pieces by artists from very different sectors of the creative scene. With all that said, you can check out all the videos and credits below:

Deintag: Valentin Lilgenau, Max Kern (cinematographer, director)
Eyelids: Max Reinhold (cinematographer, director)
I Want To Be A Pilot: Dominik Rusovac (writer)
Buscheli: Florentin Scheicher (animation, painter)
Nightwalk: Marie Sturminger, Sophia Wiegele, Laura Weissenberger (production designer, cinematographer)
Tarmac: Noel Dinse (DJ)
Clean Cut: Samuel Ebner (musician)

“Unfold” will be out tomorrow via Neopren Records

If you are in Vienna, don’t miss the album release party at Club Titanic tomorrow

i love: summer, polaroids, red lipstick, japanese cuisine, my iPod, the sun, the sea, you. i listen to: everything that makes me smile and dance. always searching, wanting more, needing more… it’s a beautiful hunger. makes me happy: ice cream. makes me sad: winter. I spent most of my free time: reading, listening, talking, writing, loving, laughing, searching, being. 5 things I can’t live without: family, friends, music, books, chocolate.
