“It all started with Leslie.” Berlin based photographer Suzana Holtgrave took the opportunity of a friend visiting, to start shooting some beautiful images whilst chilling on the balcony and being welcomed by the sun.
Enjoy part one of the three part C-Heads Exclusive series starring Leslie, Lisa, Maya, Sina and Sophie. “Leslie was sitting in front of these beautiful flowers I cultivate, looked up in the air, closed her eyes, the sun was shining frontal in her face – I have to tell you, it reminded me about my summer in Croatia, my homeland… It was the last days of summer. I wanted to capture this moment with different girls on different days to get various emotions, spontaneously. After my editorial shootings or when beautiful girls were visiting me I shot them on the balcony as well and that’s how this story was build, roughly. I wanna continue this project until my flowers are not blooming any longer. And this is not happening so fast because they are still fresh and beautiful as in spring.” No stylist or make-up artist was involved in this project, and Suzana wanted to show something authentic, representing themselves. Just sun, camera and off we go.
