“I’m a big fan of natural light. It gives you endless possibilities and even challenges you.”

26 year old Israel based photographer Yoad Shejtman´s work radiates a highly positive feeling. His motifs are mostly women. Laughing. Pensive. And always strong and self-confident. “Photography is happiness for me. I’m trying to capture the moments that tell the story in the best way and make you smile. Photography is all about light. I’m a big fan of natural light. It gives you endless possibilities and even challenges you. I always walk around with my camera and I love to shoot in unique locations with different textures of light and shadow and with beautiful models of course.”

Hello from my planet! I love nature, freedom, dancing, traveling, music, reading, chilling, cats and the woods. What makes me happy is healthy food, a good night out, long walks in the forest and getting lost in the sound of nature.

I completely agree that light plays such a crucial role in photography. I’ve noticed that even the smallest change in lighting can dramatically alter a photo’s mood. Experimenting with different times of day has helped me appreciate this even more. Thanks for sharing these insights on lighting.
