Already the first sounds of “Underwater” trigger a snug wellbeing. The London based soulful electro-cinematic artist Laura Jae returns with a wonderful single and video.

Completely unexcited soft beats blend with her consistent fantastic somehow rare voice. “Underwater’ was inspired by feeling overwhelmed with multiple changes in my life. I was having problems communicating in a relationship I was in at the time and felt I was sinking into nothingness with no emotional support. This song represents a search for freedom.” tells Laura about the song. Directed by Joe Woods from Woodworks, the video is a collaboration with British fashion designer Christopher Raeburn.
