Spanish girl Mariuk recorded, played, sang, composed and wrote her debut EP fully herself. “I called it HP5 because it´s the post code of the house where I wrote it and it’s a very special place for me.” explains the currently London based artist. Mariuca García-Lomas was born in Cantabria and bred in Madrid until 2015 when she moved to the UK. In the beginning of 2016, Mariuca locked herself in her room and started writing and producing electronic and pop songs in order to get better at writing and producing music. Encouraged by the positive feedback that her friends gave her, she decided to create Mariuk as a one-girl DIY project. And we just love what we hear; gentle sounds lined up nicely, yet sometimes surprisingly. We are curious about what the future holds for her.
