A story about Jana & Rosa

“We met one year ago when Jana got her next tattoo from me. I never thought I would fall in love with a customer and Jana never thought she would fall in love with a woman.” Rosa smiles and lights a cigarette. “And now we made our own engagement rings in Korfu/Greece, and I adopted Jana´s cat. We recently moved together to an apartment which fits our two characters. And it turned out into a wonderful little home where everyone with a good mind and energy is welcome.

When we wrote photographer Bob Sala our intention was to get some beautiful photographs that show us in a very natural way.” she continues. “But what we got was so much more. We received so much love and wonderful words. We live in a small town in Germany where everyone knows each other, that means there is a lot of talking, positive and negative. After we posted these pictures, we got outings from girls on partys that we didn’t even knew. Our pictures showed, that we are proud to be together and we can show it if we want to and there’s nothing wrong about it. Love is what matters and Bob captured that on every single image. The way he does his job doesn’t feel like work. We drank wine, listened to music and smoked way too many cigarettes. We appreciate that Bob spent so much time with us and we are looking forward to meet each other again.“
