We have a huge crush on Los Angeles based Singer-Songwriter Dana Williams; and not just since today. Her newest release “Oh No No” melts your heart with her pure and silky voice, perfectly capturing the feeling of nostalgia, melancholy and captivating souls.
The song is written by Dana and produced by Julian Bell who has collaborated with Dana on multiple songs including Rejjie Snow’s “Egyptian Luvr.” “‘Oh No No’ was written from a personal place of longing. I try not to force my music or visuals, so I drove around with my friend Rhedd Morton Jankel and we found a nice spot to shoot. What I liked about the location was that there was so much bright negative space surrounding me, and I feel like it kind of emphasized the solitude and loneliness of the song.”
