“Just after I moved from Sofia, Bulgaria to Moscow, Russia I knew that I wanted to continue making editorial based photo stories. And I can’t explain how happy I was after spontaneously meeting with the Russian beauties Anna and Lyuba.” Photographer Kaloyan Grozev tells us about his fantastic C-Heads debut. “We were sharing the same thoughts, the same desire for making impressive photos, watching quality films and listening to beautiful French music.
We were inspired by the atmosphere of Bernardo Bertolucci’s film “The dreamers”. The main idea was to capture raw emotions and moments. And when we started shooting everything looked so genuine and simple, just the way we imagined it. It was intimate, it was real, fulfilled with gentle touches.
To strenghten the natural feeling and to slow down a bit the working process I decided to shoot on my little film camera, so everything is on 35mm film.”
