A warm welcome to campaign & lifestyle photographer Michael Woolery on our site. The NY and LA based artist has an almost unique visual language; bold and energetic, often drenched in warm caramel colors. Together with model Anissa Ennouhi he has created a fantastic series, in which we can be part of unusual, often mysterious angles.
“I recently travelled to Paris where I had met with my friend & model Anissa Ennouhi . We met in the Parc des Buttes-Chaumont where she was leaning against a tree eating a spring roll.
She had just walked and worked the showrooms amongst the few high fashion houses of Paris fashion week running about town and meeting new friends with her enigmatic gravity of excitement and enthusiasm toward her environment. She is unmistakably the sunshine in a room with an intense gaze that is just as intimidating as her personality is inviting. We stopped by some local spots that she knows of and at the end of all of this flurry of new faces and places.
We find our selves back at her apartment at the end of this fashion week. A model off duty in her free private environment. Free to play, paint, to be still, to open her windows dance and sing in her cowgirl boots and do as she pleases.”
