Sometimes it´s hard to remember who we were and where the world was before all the clicks and scrolling, and thumps up and down, the alternating emojis, always new apps that want to capture a new market and check up on us, and all our image cultivation that we were slowly pushed into and that simultaneously rains down with the hammering news that tell us about our grave concerns, and restrictions that deliberately keep us on our toes. Sometimes it´s hard to remember the good and the care-free, while mourning after the lost trust of the ones that should take care of us and the world, that instead ended up in a swamp of corruption and narcissm. Sometimes I feel like I am losing myself in this vortex that twists into the wrong direction, drowning in a world where the Men in Grey win. Remote-controlled, our inner and outer liberty slips out of our hands while our fingers touch and swipe and our brains are being fed until there is no more idle.
But let me tell you, I will not forget who I was before and where the world could be and will always speak up for freedom and never give up hope for what is good and believe in the power of creative force of humans for a good cause. And one day the tide will have turned again.
