Yoad Shejtman has teamed up with 21-year-old Sarah this time. The pictures are very simple, featuring nothing more than a basic room, a bed, and the first signs of spring visible through the window in the form of tender buds on the trees. This series captures the longing for quiet, reflective moments spent alone.
“I’m many things, but among them, I’m a singer and composer.” tells us Sarah. “I’m also an explorer, having lived in three different countries and visited 13. Despite this, I’m still discovering who I am. In my opinion, there’s no better way to delve into your soul than through art.
During the photoshoot, I felt like I was doing something completely new. It felt right; I felt free, and most importantly, I felt like myself. Photography allows you to see the world through someone else’s eyes, opening up a new level of understanding.”
