Introducing a scintillating photo series that’s nothing short of spectacular, hot, and enigmatically captivating. Photographer Romain Martinez teams up with Artistic Director Aurore Champrenault and model Angela Aru to bring the swimwear of Belles des Pins to life. Inspired by the heat and hues of a sun-drenched beach in Cannes, this series is a love letter to the sensations of a sultry August holiday.
“As the photographer, I always wanted to shoot pictures with a swimsuit brand, and Belles Des Pins was exactly what I like in swimsuits. The suits are colorful, for everyone, and you can tie it as you want. The shoot’s inspiration was the harsh sun that hit our skin on august holidays. It was hot and we were on a beautiful beach in Cannes, I really wanted to transcript that feeling of heat and the sea perfume. It’s for that I worked with Aurore for the artistic direction. She comes from the South of France, so she knows exactly what I wanted to picture with Angela.”
