Naturalness with Maria
“We spent a warm sunset together. We met for taking pictures but all we did was play.” Photographer Pablo Gil laughs. “Maria and me played with light, we played with colors, heat and freshness. Green, white, yellow, red. We turned the bedroom into a flamenco show, and the living room became a sacred temple right away. It was an intimate game of laughters, characters and fun. I guess that is our Spanish essence.”
I know that after this we will never see each other.
Vancouver based photographer Maryna Yazbeck processes the time issue of life in her photo story using symbols such as a sandtimer. Maryna picked up her first camera when she was only 12 years old and believes that you don’t need a certain “style” or “theme” to be a great photographer, but instead being able to replicate all styles is key.
