“9 months since the last time I returned home but it’s that city that you fall in love with again and again. After realizing that of all travel videos I have made I didn’t even have one of my hometown so I tried to look at Hong Kong through the eyes of tourists falling in love with the city for the first time.” Lauren Engel shows off the many sites of the vibrant city with delicious food, a colorful bunch of people and a giant skyline.

Hello from my planet! I love nature, freedom, dancing, traveling, music, reading, chilling, cats and the woods. What makes me happy is healthy food, a good night out, long walks in the forest and getting lost in the sound of nature.

There’s something magical about seeing Hong Kong through fresh eyes, isn’t there? Lauren Engel’s video really captures that nostalgic pull—the way familiar streets suddenly feel new and alive. It reminded me of reading Expedia reviews when I plan a trip—those little stories, candid suggestions, and honest snapshots help me feel connected before I even land. Just like revisiting your hometown after ages, those reviews bring a sense of warmth, curiosity, and confidence. This piece doesn’t just show a city—it whispers what it means to really fall in love again with a place wrapped in light and memory.
