In September, photographer Vitalik Melnikov captured the wedding of Anastasia and her husband in the French countryside near Paris. “There was something beautiful about the way the couple shared their love — so natural, gentle, and full of simplicity,” he remembers.
Photographed mostly on analogue film, primarily Kodak Portra 160, the series carries a timeless softness. The warm tones, the countryside setting, the intimate gestures — everything feels as though it belongs to a beautiful film from decades ago. Just two people, a little French romance, and a day that will live on in photographs.
