Her wildest dreams? “To one day be truly content. I know that sounds boring, but true contentment seems rather unattainable.” We had a 5 minutes chat with model Sophia Rambaldni that was captured by the wonderful Natalie Cottee.
Are you aware about your own beauty?
Yes definitely. However, I think it’s something that I’ve grown into as I’ve become a woman. I never felt that beautiful as a child or pubescent girl.
What did you like best about this shooting with Natalie Cottee?
Nat is extremely vocal and passionate when she shoots. We actually started joking about the fact that she sounds like she’s having an orgasm when she is inspired by an expression or movement and manages to shoot it. It was lovely to know that she was so invested in the shoot, and that she didn’t consider it “just another day at work with a pretty girl”.
3 prejudices about models that are complete nonsense…
That we are all bitches
That we have inflated egos
That we feel beautiful all the time
Your biggest fears?
Massive phobia of sharks.I will only ever go knee deep in water. It’s pathetic I know, but it’s just one of those irrational things that you can’t get past.
Your wildest dreams?
To one day be truly content. I know that sounds boring, but true contentment seems rather unattainable.
The person that has shaped you most in your life so far?
Probably my dad. He has a very dominant personality, and is very cemented in his values and beliefs. I think it’s a good way to be, and it’s definitely rubbed off on me.

Sophia comes across as refreshingly grounded here—her answer about contentment being harder than beauty really sticks with me. The shoot photos by Natalie Cottee have such a soft, natural energy that matches the interview’s honest tone. It’s nice to see a model talk openly about insecurities and irrational fears instead of just promoting a polished image. Makes me wonder how AI tools like deepai text to image AI online would interpret this same aesthetic, but the human touch in these portraits is hard to beat.
