Mexican photographer Noel Quintela, currently based in Madrid and Paris catched up with model Carmen Julia who is with Carmen Duran Management in Spain and Select Models NY before her move to New York. The Spanish expressive beauty shows a very personal and laid-back site in this exclusive C-Heads story. We talked to her about social media, her favourite designer and the most important person in her life.

What is your generation about?
Socialmedia, no doubt.

And where do you see yourself in the future?
Working with creativity people in either the fashion or art industry.

What are your origins?
100% Spanish

Your favorite fashion designer?
I don’t particularly have a favorite, but if I could choose to be dressed or styled by someone it would be YSL, Celine or Alexander Wang.

Instagram is all about presenting the ideal version of yourself – “the good life” Why do you think so many people are addicted to this app?
Its another way to exchange information about each others lives with photos. It´s not like facebook or twitter where people share their thoughts, it´s all about creativity and making beautiful images.

And which is your favorite instagram account?
Isamayaffrench , jacquemus & margaret_zhang are some of my popular favorites, but I always love to browse through my friends @lindsxdavis @psycosmicprincess and @mrjuanvidal because it makes me happy to see what they are up to in their daily travels, etc.

Best thing to do on a rainy day?
Stay home and watch a movie.

Favorite place to be?
Wherever my friends or family are.
