“Everything flows.” The world through the eyes of Antonia Leicht

“It’s just a completely different feeling to look through the viewfinder, kind of nostalgic, the world looks more interesting and beautiful with the Minolta in front of my eyes.”

“I’m a big fan of (natural) light, which in my opinion is one the most important factors when it comes to get a good photograph. This insubstantial brightness with its shadow plays, reflexions and color changes puts magic in every scene of our daily life. It´s a natural filter and always fun to play with.” lionises Antonia Leicht, a passionate photographer and architecture student from the South of Germany whose work is adorable and provokes delightful feelings. “Everything flows”, as written on her instagram account couldn´t be a better way to describe what is being presented in her work. Always having enjoyed photography, she initially got herself a digital reflect camera when she was 14, but never really got into it and only rarely used it. “I would rather take photos with my mobile phone. But suddenly, 2 years ago, my uncle gave me his old analog camera, a Minolta dynax 7000i and I was in love with it from the very first film forth. It’s just a completely different feeling to look through the viewfinder, kind of nostalgic, the world looks more interesting and beautiful with the Minolta in front of my eyes. My favorite motive are definitely humans, most of the times my friends, who are my inspiration at the same time. I just try to capture them in all their realness and greatness in little moments. I’m gonna keep on that passion alive by carrying my camera with me as often as I can, hoping to get better, always remembering Henri Cartier Bresson, who said „Your first 10,000 photographs are your worst.“”

Hello from my planet! I love nature, freedom, dancing, traveling, music, reading, chilling, cats and the woods. What makes me happy is healthy food, a good night out, long walks in the forest and getting lost in the sound of nature.
