Soft sunlight, slow moments and a certain elegance running through every frame — Sebastian Hufeld captures the mesmerizing beauty of Lilly. Currently studying Economics and Politics while preparing for her bachelor’s thesis, Lilly moves between ambition and softness with an effortless ease. In between travelling, long days near the water and enjoying life’s simple beautiful things, this shoot gently reveals the presence of someone who feels both grounded and dreaming at the same time.
How would you describe yourself?
I’m a very organized person and I tend to plan everything through. My mind is always working, thinking ahead and trying to keep everything under control but at the same time I still try to leave space for spontaneity and creativity.
What are some little things that instantly make your day better?
A calm morning, getting things done the way I planned them, good music and fresh flowers.
What do you enjoy most about being in front of the camera?
You can express so much through images without using any words. I love capturing emotions and moments that would otherwise disappear so quickly. A photo can hold a feeling forever.
Tell us a bit about the vibe during this shoot with Sebastian. How did it feel creating these images together?
The atmosphere felt very natural and relaxed. We didn’t force anything, and I think that’s what made the images feel honest. It was more like creating together than simply taking photos.

“Real confidence comes from being independent, focusing on my own goals, and surrounding myself with people who bring out the best in me.”
What does your perfect Sunday look like?
Slow mornings, no alarms, coffee, fresh air, maybe a little trip somewhere, and ending the day with good food and people I love.
Is there a dream or goal you secretly hope comes true one day?
I hope to create a life where I feel successful but still at peace. Doing work I truly love, travelling, growing as a person, and being surrounded by people who really understand me.
What makes you feel most confident and most like yourself?
I tend to feel most like myself when I stop overthinking and simply live in the moment. Real confidence comes from being independent, focusing on my own goals, and surrounding myself with people who bring out the best in me. When I’m genuinely happy and not constantly thinking about other people’s expectations, everything feels more natural. That’s when I feel the most comfortable, confident, and true to myself.
I saw on Instagram that you really love travelling — I absolutely love it too so much. (smiles) Why do you think so many of us feel this strong need to be somewhere else sometimes?
Because travelling reminds us how big the world is and how many different versions of life exist. Sometimes leaving a place helps us reconnect with ourselves in a deeper way.
So, if you could wake up anywhere tomorrow morning, where would it be?
Probably somewhere close to the ocean maybe in Italy or on a quiet island where the air feels warm and everything moves a little slower.
And lastly — the most important thing in life is?
Love, in every form. Love for people, for life, for yourself, and for the moments that make you feel truly alive.
