She wasn’t Alice and this was not a wonderland…
Alice… Who the fuck was Alice?

A beautiful mythic character escaped from a bad
Sci-Fi movie. Living in a Platonian rabbit hole…
All of a sudden a whole new world would open up.
An enchanting world wide web… A revolution…televised.
She could be whoever she wanted to be.
An illusion… The illusion of choice. Trying out
different characters endorsing virtual reality.
Just to see… A social experiment
But not one would fit her identity.
Building a wall, filtering what she wanted to
show. Show off how one is different. Showing.
Following the following.
Part of the copy paste generation. Generating
overcloned sameness.
She could be whoever she wanted to be. She could
be her own pop up version. Temporarily under
construction. Control alt delete. In control to
delete it all… Try all and
error. Trial and error. Just to see… Like a long distance
relationship with herself.
Unsure identity…

She wasn’t Alice and this was not a wonderland.
Alice… Who the fuck was Alice?

Social media. Social me?
How hard could it be?
Just to see… A social experiment
A thousand pictures in her stare, but not one to
really care
Liking to be liked. Her guilty pleasure
Make up… Mock up
Ready made… Made up
Interacting. Acting.
Lonely. She and her screen. A screening.
Scrolling.
Different places, different faces. Shizophrenia.
Different embodiments, different bodies.
Anorexia.

Dystopia! Part of the consumerist society, consuming all
our time
Her window on the
world, but kept from the truth. Her true self.
Exploring freedom of speech, but creating
new taboos

She wasn’t Alice and this was not a wonderland.
Alice… Who the fuck was Alice?

*Sorry, this page could not be found*

She was just some social experiment.
Experimenting. A user’s interface exploring how
to dive under the surface. A matrix like figure
trying to figure out who she really was.
Caught like a spider in a web.
Enchanting. Enchanging. What happened to her
rabbit hole? Set free she could finally see it
wasn’t that bad after all…And her soul?

She wasn’t Alice and this was not a wonderland.
Alice… Who the fuck was Alice?
And her rabbit hole, where was it now?

Hello from Berlin! I love freedom, travelling, long train rides, Stefan Zweig books, cats, colours, writing postcards, music, and movies à la Woody Allen and Wes Anderson. What makes me really happy is the seaside, sunrises and sunsets and having lots of time!
