The film’s story takes place between Rebirth: Coachella and Rebirth: Paris.
“A movie can make you scared, happy, silly, or even depressed. People in general has always been my fascination and seeing how they react to film is my high.” explained LA based director and photographer Bobby Vu a while ago. And he just dropped his newest short film called “Rebirth: The Doll” starring gorgeous Elizabeth Wheeland.
“Rebirth: The Doll is a story on how Dante’s (aka Bobby) girlfriend Natalya becomes the doll where he gifted it to her. Due to a severe illness and curse, she needs to transfer her soul into the doll. The story then leads into Rebirth: Paris where Dante takes the doll with him to Paris, where he gathers souls for her so she can become human again.” Honestly, we ´re not sure what´s going on (and we probably have to watch it a few times to figure out the meaning) but the cinematic pictures and the soundtrack (Radiohead – Daydreaming) are just beautiful.
