Hello my name is Richard Terrones and with my partners Beth Schurga and Alex Torres and we are artist, we are photographers and many other things.
We met years ago in Pasadena CA in a women’s rehabilitation center; we all suffered from addiction and self destructive tendency. We had wasted and burnt our lives to the ground for many years until we were able to get honest with ourselves and admit we had a problem and needed help with our drug addictions and through time we were all able to overcome our many character defects to live a life of inner freedom beauty and art.
We all come from different corners of the country and found ourselves together in the city of Pasadena sharing a common passion for the arts and a new lease at life. I get the great honor and pleasure of being the custodian of our lives and memories when we are at our best and worst. We love each other and hurt each other like no others can. We can be gentle and sensitive but also harsh and hurtful towards each other, we are a passionate lot… even to a fault. We are perfect in the most in perfect ways.
We love each other without truly understanding why. But through our struggles and love for art we’ve became a family and this is our story in photo of that joy and love we have for each other and ourselves now.
