“This is a movie about me and my two closest friends. It’s a love letter to the last days of summer that we spent together in a cottage by the lake.” tells us Klaudia from the creative collective Ciao Bella. “You’re probably curious what we’re all like.” she continues. “Well, Daria is young and pure. Magda is wild and dangerous. And me? I’m not really sure.” Klaudia laughs.
“We’ve known each other for years. We drink wine together, spend lazy Sundays together. But recently we have started working together. And this is our first attempt for a video. So what was it like when we were shooting it? You might ask. Well, the nights were still warm while we were talking until the early mornings. The big, bright and airy scenery made us feel relaxed as never before. It’s pretty hard to describe the joy and playfulness of those days. The subtle mosaic of blue light on the water cracked through with sun streaks. The feeling of warmth that fills up our bodies after we’ve rushed naked into the lake. The nearby fireplace cracking in the dusk or the girlish, sweet intimacy that brought our friendship even closer. But like in every letter you have to say goodbye. Dear summer, you evil bastard we missed you so much.”
