 Charlotte, being a curve model, what challenges do you face and how do you conquer them? “I have not always been proud of my curves, in fact at times I have tried very hard to get rid of them. But since accepting the shape that I was born with, my curves have empowered me to embrace my body and hopefully encourage others that models don’t only come in a particular package. For me, my biggest challenge has always been that I am either too big or too skinny for the industry. I find this continually frustrating as all I have ever wanted to do is model at the size I am. I have always been into my fitness accompanied by an ongoing love affair with food and I have refused to conform to any particular industry ‘ideal’. Even though I still may be questioned within the industry, I want to represent HEALTHY models whatever size or shape they may be…”
