Would you say it’s taken quite sometime for the fashion industry to embrace “curves”?
I think mainly for the UK “curve fashion” has always been there but on the background. Where in the U.S. Is more out there. I think it’s becoming more relevant here and slowly and surly more mainstream
In the early part of the century curves were quite widely accepted and adored what do you think changed?
Fashion changes all the time. People perception of beauty changes all the time. I think what should stay is being healthy no matter what size you are.
What advice would you give to a curve model just starting out?
I would advice any type of model to do their work. Research and find you niche in the industry and explore from there. Sometimes all you need is one foot in the door. A opportunity. And then once your in show them all the work you have. Work out and healthy eating. No one likes a grumpy model. Research and work on your poses. Look up to successful models and learn how to work your angles.
