Buenos Aires based Johan Nieuwenburg packs into his images everything we love. A smattering of wildness, self-confidence and sensuality. And just the right amount of craziness that we all need in order to feel really alive.

Where do you get your inspiration from?
Mostly from music and movies. Composition and storytelling used by directors such as Stanley Kubrick and Tarantino inspire me the most. But it really depends I guess, sometimes Im just driving my bike around town or while sitting in the bus looking through the window, I see a cool spot and it inspires me immediately to do some pictures there.

Your images are wild, sexy and youthful. How would you describe your own work?
For me it´s all about attitude. Being free spirited, a little bit on the wild side, yes, but without the need of showing-off or displaying excesses, not that I’m against it, but its more about being playful and proud about yourself, your sexuality and craziness. And not giving a fuck about what the others will think about it of course.

And what do you want to capture in your work?
Attitude!

What do you like most about yourself?
Being very obsessive when I want something, its a love-hate feeling actually, but yeah.

What does success mean to you?
I guess success is being able to do the things you like till the day you die.
