Berber Theunissen photographs things she gets personally touched by. Stuff she loves, but also things that makes her feel vulnerable. And so her pictures speak an incredibly delicate language. Unobtrusive and yet impressive. In her ongoing series “Skin”, people, branches and hair intertwine themselves. Berber´s latest photo set features Emma, a girl that she knows via instagram. “The girl called Emma. When I saw her on instagram, I thought it was very interesting how she reveals herself online. We started playing with flowers and poses and while doing so there appeared to be an interesting triangular. ”
