“I was so happy to get Nina Mendes in front of my camera. She is just gorgous, I love her style and she is so refreshing uncomplicated.” The eyes wink. The warm smile makes me comfortable fall in the chair. Photographer Verena Voetter continues: “Ramona the assistant is a friend of mine. I just needed a bit help with the clothing and food. She came with a trolly and brought us fruits and even a huge watermelon. Isn´t that sweet?” I interrupt briefly and get a glass of water. My fingers glide over the engraved flowers. “The idea about “Hola Barcelona!” was to show bits of Munich, which don´t look like Munich. I told Nina, she should think about beeing a Spanish artgallery-owner. Or something like that.” I turn off my glass. My thoughts wander. I see the sparkle in my eyes and I smile.
